Michael and I got married on 3rd February, 2007 at

St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Leederville, with our

Reception to follow at Caversham House (Marquee)

in Caversham. It was a beautiful clear 42°C day - very

hot, but with all the fun, excitement and the shady

trees at our photo locations to keep us cool we didn’t

even notice.

After the church ceremony, we headed off in our

Rolls Royces to the Queen’s Gardens with our bridal

party for photos. It was truly amazing, the beautiful

blue sky, lush green grass, champagnes and beers in

hand and our best friends by our sides - the perfect

setting for great photos to cherish.

Then off to the Boatshed. This had always been a

place that Michael and I loved. It is such a beautiful

spot on the water, and the sky was just absolutely

breathtaking, so blue!! Typical Aussie day, just

glorious!! The groomsmen all had matching underwear,

all with Mr Men pictures, and they thought the

Boatshed Jetty would be the perfect place to drop

their trousers. Well, we certainly got some toots on

good old Mounts Bay Road!!

We then headed to the Reception where we were

greeted by all of our family and friends and had more

photos taken in the stunning gardens at Caversham

House. The limestone walls and breathtaking fl owers

made the experience seem like such a fairytale.

After all the photos it was time to head into the

Marquee, talk to family and friends, relax, eat, drink

and dance the night away!!!

It is so hard to describe your wedding day in just a few

words, but we both had a definite feeling of happiness

and contentment knowing that all our family and

friends were there to share our wonderful day with us.

A special thanks to Cyrus too!! We knew we wanted

to work with Lighthouse Photography from the

moment we saw Cyrus’ portfolio. Cyrus framed our

magical moments so perfectly and captured every

single moment of our wedding. All of our family and

friends were so impressed by his extraordinary

photography. The photography shares his sensibility

and artistry, which we fell in love with, and it shaped

the moments of our day. Cyrus captured every

special moment, including the sparkle and tears in

our family and friends’ eyes. He didn’t ask us to strike

poses that are repeated again and again and made

the photos very uniquely ours, as the day was to us.

We very much appreciated Cyrus’ enthusiasm and

professionalism, and would highly recommend him.
