travelling the globe, we decided on

a short engagement which left us

with just five months to get organised.

Some people thought we were

crazy but we got everything done

well in advance and we think that it

made planning a wedding 100 times

less stressful. When you only have a

short time you can’t be too picky

and decisions get made swiftly and

with less stress!

Everything went to plan for our

wedding, there were no hiccups or

slip ups. It was perfect! We had an

outside ceremony in front of the lake

in the beautiful settings of Peel

Manor House.

The wedding party then went off for

photos - we had a ball! It was

definitely one of the highlights of the

day, very relaxed and lots of fun.

The other highlight was the bridal

party and bride and groom

entering the reception room, you just

feel so special you have to lap it up!

The whole day was great, we

honestly had one of the happiest

days of our lives.

If I had any advice it would be: have

a short engagement; make an effort

to speak to every one of your guests

for more than two seconds; and stand

outside the reception room with your

husband and enjoy the big picture

of your guests celebrating your marriage.

Also, get a good photographer.

The wedding only lasts a day

but your photos are forever.
